I feel like this is going to become a gripe box, and I apologize.

Did anyone else's second grade teacher have a "gripe box"? Like they got sick and tired of their students tattling and whining so they made them write everything down and put it in a shoebox, and of course promised to read through all of the little things that tormented their poor little seven year olds all day. Well - Pat is in Yuma for the entire month of October. He'll also be gone the first two and a half weeks of December. So anyone who wants to come out and experience San Diego is welcome to stay in my guest room. My mom and sister came to visit right after he left at the end of September and that was so much fun. I mean I had fun...I hope they did! We went to a dualing piano bar downtown and we went kayaking and saw sea lions and did some wine tasting and we made daquiris like every night and played that karaoke revolution game on the playstation...it was a good time.

So - anyone who is confused about what I'm doing with my life is rightfully so. I am now about to start taking some education classes during the Fall 2 term at the University of West Alabama (online). Hopefully I'll have my masters in elementary education this time next year! (And seeing as how quickly that last year went by - I'm pretty dang excited.) I'm also moving back in with my MOM in Huntsville when Pat leaves for deployment again in June 2009, so I'm also excited about that!

One more thing - I am so very proud of myself for this: I just filled a big Macy's bag with shoes to get rid of...I mean these are pieces of crap I haven't worn in like five years! THAT'S how bad of a packrat I am. I realized it when Amanda was visiting and she was looking through my closet and she very nicely put it like this: "Wow, you really hold on to things well." Because I still have crap that she handed down to me when she was in high school hanging in my closet thinking I might wear it one day!! How pathetic is that?!? That crap is from like ten years ago!! So yeah I need to sift through my drawers and closet too, but until then...I just won't wear it. :\
