Also - we got all of our stuff moved out today. Well, I didn't do anything, but Pat, Jeremy, Dusty, and Carl moved all of our furniture out of our upstairs apartment and into a moving truck in less than an hour! It was crazy...I couldn't even keep up with who had what and I just felt totally useless. Seriously though - we got started around 10:30 this morning and they were driving off to the storage unit at 11:30. They got everything squeezed in perfectly and were back before 1! I stayed at the apartment and steam cleaned all the carpets, which I wish I had done before because oh my goodness have you ever seen the stuff that comes out of your carpet when you do that?!?! It turns the water this dark murky brown and it's so disgusting to think that I went so long without cleaning the carpets, but whatever...we're moving out. SO we got all that taken care of and returned the truck and steam cleaner and were on our way home at 1:15. Isn't that amazing? I swear...I owe those guys big time.
That being said, I'm SO excited to drive home next week! I mean I honestly am going to miss some things about California, like all my girlfriends, a few very original restaurants and living five miles from the coast, but I am so ready to get back to my family and HOME! And I hope that everyone knows they are welcome to visit us at my mom's house at ANY TIME! Especially for the baby shower...whenever that may be ;) I'll also be coming back out here after Pat gets back for like weeks on end WITH THE BABY! I'm very excited about that as well. I'M JUST SO EXCITED! Oh and Pat's deployment is only from August till December so it's super short so that's also exciting. I feel like I've already written all of this.
I can't wait to let everyone know if we're expecting a boy or a girl even though it's like tomorrow morning! Aaaah!
