I've been keeping you updated on Pat, but what about me??? Just kidding! But seriously...over the last week or so, we've been working on my mom's house. It's been fun seeing the progression!! So far, we have taken down all the door frames, baseboards, window frames, and old paneling from the downstairs family room, ("we" being my mom, uncle, and myself...I think Amanda helped take down a few pieces of paneling, too) replaced some of the old/damaged (by chipmunks) insulation, put up a vapor barrier (sheet plastic), removed the treads and risers from the staircase, which we are going to replace with new and pretty treads and risers, and framed up a new closet! Next on the list: get the wallboard up, prime it, finish the stairs, hang the doors for the closet, install the new stairs, paint, and put the frames and baseboards back up. That doesn't sound so bad! :)
Oh yeah, and our jack-o-lanterns were SWEET this year! Amanda's is the super scary one, mom's is the ghost with BOO, and mine is the goofy looking face. I carved mom's. :)
Sorry if you guys have gotten a ton of emails with this same post, but I couldn't get the slideshow to work for the longest time! I thought it was because one of the files was too big, and then I ended up moving them all to the same folder and that seemed to work.
