Sawyer has been babbling a lot more lately, (I hope that video works) and I swear any minute now he's going to bust out a full belly laugh. He's been sleeping SO WELL since we've moved in; we almost have a schedule! He's been falling asleep for the night between 10:30 and 11:00, and waking up a little before 6:00am. He eats and gets a new diaper and then sleeps for about 3 more hours and then we watch sesame street and play on the floor. It's amazing. I'm sure next week he'll decide to stay up till 3 am again, but I'm just going to enjoy this while it lasts! He was also like the best baby ever when we went to WalMart the other day. It's the sling!!! Trish - you were right; it's awesome. It's my favorite THLING!! haha
Also - we've met our neighbors and everyone is really nice. Our next door neighbor had me over for a Southern Living party, so I got to meet a few other ladies who live nearby, and then the couple who lives behind us is really nice, too. She brought us brownies on Saturday night...yum! And then last night we went to Jessica and Steve's house (Steve is the Captain that Pat is replacing) for a dinner to say farewell to a Lieutenant who is leaving for OCC. He was here working temporarily between schools, and they are really going to miss him! Jessica is Steve's wife and she is so sweet and she's been super helpful in finding a pediatrician and everything. I'm SO glad they are here! They're not leaving either - Steve is getting out of the Marines and they are going to stay here and open up their own Cross Fit gym next month (which I might have to look into, as they both look like they could kill someone with a hand tied behind their back, and I wouldn't mind looking half that good)!
We are going to start painting soon and that will be the next update! Get excited for before and after pictures!
This is Sawyer watching Sesame Street yesterday morning. So cute!
