Oh BOY...tons of updates

First of all, I just realized I hadn't mentioned anything about our second baby on the blog yet! How awful of me! So yeah, everyone knows now and it's not news at all, but we're expecting baby BOY #2 on March 2nd of next year. I can't get over how unexpected it was finding out, and how awesome it's going to be! We found out on Monday that it's a boy and the ultrasound machine was awesome! With Sawyer, we could barely see anything but this one was so clear, and then the tech went to a 3D image which I was not expecting at all.

Sawyer is 9 months old now, and he's getting into all kinds of things! He's so much fun. He'll wave hi and bye, he's been saying the "D" and "N" sounds for a few months, but he's just started the "B" and "M" sound. We still only have two teeth on the bottom, which doesn't give us much to experiment with new foods, but he does love blueberry bagels, bananas, and carrots.
He's standing up really well now and is trying to walk but can only get one step in before he loses his balance. He started standing up (holding on to something, pulling himself up, and letting go) in September but he's like really standing up now. At his 9 month appointment he weighed 24 lbs 12 oz and he was 30.5 inches long, which puts him in the 95th %ile for weight and 99th for height/length. (And therefore I got him the Incredible Hulk costume for Halloween...hahaha...no seriously - I did. Pictures will come later!) They said he looks like a one year old. I just wish he'd get some teeth!!
We've started a new kind of routine since the weather has been SO BEAUTIFUL!!! There's a park about a half mile down the street with one of those little baby swings, so I walk him down there and we play on the playground (he crawls through the tunnel and up the steps, and I help him down the slides), and he swings! It's so much fun and I look forward to it every day. I'm not able to work out quite like I was a couple months ago, either, so walking is nice - especially when the weather is this amazing.

Pat is super pumped about Auburn football this year because we have Cameron Newton and so far we're 6-0. I mean he's always pumped about it but this year at least he's having fun watching it and keeping up with everything. He gets really into it every season, but this one's just been a little more enjoyable. (For everyone.) We actually might have a couple of old Auburn buddies come this weekend for the game. It's so nice being so much closer to our friends!!
I don't feel like I've gone on long enough to update you on everything but I kinda feel like I have. And I gotta go make dinner so I'm done for now!
Oh except for my congratulations to like five of my friends who've recently gotten engaged!! Jeanine, Katy, Betsy, oh gosh who am I forgetting???!
