cuts and rolls

It's getting hot. Sawyer had started doing this really hard, scrunch up your whole face for five seconds, type of blink for the last few days. I realized his hair was kind of getting in his eyes. I cut his hair. I hate it. I mean he's still the cutest freaking thing I've ever seen (except for Greyson when he laughs, or sneezes, or sleeps...) but his hair was so pretty. And I had to cut it so short so that it wasn't just a giant puffball, daffodil looking, white afro...it's basically buzzed. Except for the top, because I just couldn't cut it all that short. Pat had recently gotten these wireless clippers for his own hair, because he shaves his head like every week, so I used those. I basically chased him around the bathroom for ten minutes and whenever he'd sit still long enough for me to get near him with the thing, I'd just wave it around his head and hope to cut something. Now he looks like a redneck baby whose mom tried to give him a high and tight. :(

Oh well, it grows back, right?

Also, Greyson has rolled over only twice now, but he's at least done it. I haven't gotten it on camera but I will eventually gosh darnit! I just think he's perfectly content lying on his belly. He doesn't seem to want to roll around and get into stuff the way Sawyer did, and still does. That's fine with me! He is sitting in the exersaucer much better every day though!
