Happy two year anniversary to us, a month later...okay so I didn't write about it like DAY OF, so sue me. Pat was still in Arizona and I was probably super busy with school work. I only have three weeks left and then I'll have knocked out four classes - yay! So yeah, October 21st was two years and we can't believe all that wedding madness was that long ago. I mean we can definitely tell because we've moved twice and Pat's been deployed in that time, but it still seems like it was not that long ago!
We have also recently been to TWO balls - it was the 233rd birthday of the Marine Corps. We went to the division ball on November 6th and it was HUGE. The meal - not so huge, and Pat had to work the next day = not fun. On Thursday night we went to Pat's batallion's ball and it was really nice. They had it at a casino about half an hour away from where we live so of course Pat had to play some kind of poker, but he ended up winning almost half of what he took to the table. The dinner was really nice and the music was fun, and I really like all the people he works with and their wives, so that made it easy to have fun!
This week we have one of Pat's best friends, Kyle, coming in from Hawaii for Thanksgiving and I am going shopping tomorrow for all the Thanksgiving necessities and I'm really excited about cooking for everyone. Everyone being Kyle, Mahoney, Sara, Chris, and Sophia, possibly Chris's mother and two little sisters, and Pat and myself! Okay so I'm basically just excited to EAT everything, but cooking will be fun, too. Christmas shopping the next day will also be thoroughly enjoyable I'm sure. I hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving!
