Family Time!!

Pat has been lucky enough to visit with his family in Atlanta and here in Huntsville over the last two weeks. After driving the span of the entire country with me, he drove to Atlanta to see his dad and brother, Dan. His aunt and uncle also drove down for the weekend and they had a really nice time getting together again. He also had a good group of friends from Atlanta meet up with him downtown one night. That was awesome because he made one phone call, his friends had no notice, and I think like twelve people showed up! Good guys - and girls! Betsy!! Since we've been in Huntsville, his mom has driven down from Indianapolis and we (I hope) showed her a good time in Huntsville with a few different restaurants, shopping, and a movie; it was a good visit with her, too. She's got it pretty tough right now with her oldest son, Clay, overseas till October (I think) and now Pat about to be overseas till Christmas. :(

On that note, Pat will leave here Friday afternoon and then leave for his deployment some time next week. The date keeps changing. We are just SO lucky, happy, and grateful that he'll be back in time for the BABY in January!! We are also lucky, happy, and grateful for my awesome MOM who is letting me live with her till the next time Pat's duty station changes! Baby and everything...what a saint!

And - thanks to everyone for all the baby gear! Everyone has been so generous! Sara, Amanda, Jacinda, Angela, Pat's aunt and uncle, my aunts, all of our parents, my goodness! We have quite the collection of baby stuff already!
