Charlotte, North Carolina!

Pat just called and told me that he has been assigned to an Officer Selection Officer position in Charlotte, NC! Yay! We'll be so close to everyone! (30 minutes from Pat's Uncle Dennis and Aunt Trudy, 4 hours to Pat's Dad and Dianne, 4 hours to Amanda, 8 hours from my Mom and Grandparents, 9 hours to Dan and Emily, and 5 hours from Auburn!) Geeze...finally!! I was so excited about finding out where we'd be the next three years but kind of nervous at the same time. I've been looking at Realtor.com and just seeing what kind of house you get for your money of all the five cities he listed last week, and Charlotte looked the most promising! I mean don't get me wrong, Atlanta would be awesome because we know so many people there and it's SO close to everybody, but Charlotte is a beautiful city, too! He is so lucky...he put that at #2 on his list and he got it! Another guy got his LAST choice and is kinda bummed about it, and PAT CONVINCED HIM TO PUT THAT CITY AS HIS #5! :( Oh my gosh I feel so bad for him.

So yeah, look out North Carolina!! WOOHOOOOOO!! :)
