"As I’m writing this email we are anchored within ½ a mile of the Philippines. The ocean all the way out to where we’re anchored is brown from the mud from the flooding. Also, there are a ton of little boats/ships all around us that are just anchored and staying away from the land. We should be on ship for at least another 3 days while we plan, get replenished, etc. It looks like one of the 3 ships in our group (def not ours) will be heading to Indonesia soon to aid in the earthquake efforts up there. It also sounds like a possibility that after we’re done here in the Philippines we made head to another country in Asia to aid since it seems like the entire continent is getting [severely messed] up."

He said later in the email that internet and computer time is really limited since there are four guys trying to share one computer, so he's going to try to continue the updates but they might not be very regular.

I am trying to keep up with his fantasy football team while he's on ship and it is harder than I remember it being! I feel like it's such a big decision to drop someone; and then figuring out who to replace them is really hard when I only keep up with my beloved Steelers. I recognize a few names, but oh my gosh...I'm doing so much NFL research I feel like I'm taking a football class!! It's fun though, and it makes the games more interesting I guess.

So I guess that's all for now...I'm going to go walk the dogs while it's still nice and almost chilly outside! :)
