So much to say...

I have some serious catching up to do! We have found a house in Charlotte, the inspection has been completed, our mortgage loan application is in process, and closing should be on the 16th of March! I can't wait to get moved in...it has been awesome living at home with my mom and sister, and having family so close by is always the best, but this will be our first house and our first "home" as a family of four! (Yes, I'm counting Molly...she doesn't do well if she feels as though she's being left out.)

ALSO - Sawyer is now SEVEN WEEKS OLD! Wow. At his 6 wk appointment he weighed an even 12 pounds and was 23" long. He got all of his 2 month shots and he was so good. He only cried when she stuck him with the needle and then he stopped after like five seconds. It was awesome. He's smiling a lot more now, and he's making random noises every now and then; it's like he's trying to join in the conversations around him. He's so cute. He's very picky about how he sleeps - he moves so much that we literally have to straightjacket swaddle him to keep him from waking himself up, but he hates being in that swaddle, so you have to wait for him to be asleep to put him in it! So I've given in on that and I've been letting him sleep in the bed with me. I'm going to gradually move him back to his crib, but for now, I just want some sleep! And if he sleeps with me, he'll sleep for 6-8 hours straight. Who's gonna argue that? :) I think he's actually going through a growth spurt right now because he's sleeping a lot and eating a lot. I read somewhere that you should just let a baby sleep as much as he can throughout the day and he'll sleep better at night, and so far that is SO TRUE! Also, simethicone (mylicon...anti-gas) drops help. :)
